Tela watching the blacksmith shop in action.

The Sandwich that inspired this post.
So, off we go on an adventure in Fort Langley, which yes, has a fort! The town itself is 'quaint', it has the old old OLD cemetary smack dab in the middle on main street, tons of little 'out of the way shops', that aren't really out of the way because they are also on main street,, lol. A great place to go and just lose yourself for a day. Antique stores, second hand shops, two,, YES TWO chocolate shops, one of which I spend money in every trip. The fort itself is two blocks off the main street, so you pretty much park and walk to everything. Well, at the fort, they have one of the buildings converted into a kind of tea house, with scones/muffins/sandwiches etc, nothing heavy, but enough to re-energise for an afternoon. I saw this sandwich on the menu, and just HAD HAD HAD to order it. Peanut butter and chocolate chip, and it came with a salad! Ok, I live for salad, and no, I didn't eat the sandwich, someone else did, but we took a picture of it. It actually had chocolate chips INSIDE THE SANDWICH!!!!!!! Talk about a suger buzz. Price wise it only cost $4 for the sandwich, a deeeeeeelish salad, and a juice. I have it say it was a first for me to see that on a menu anywhere!
